What is My Option Journal?

My Option Journal is an app designed to help options traders track covered calls, cash secured puts, wheel strategies, holdings, premiums, and performance.

Does the app provide financial advice?

No. My Option Journal is only a tracking and organization tool. It does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, trading signals, or tax advice.

Do I need to create an account?

No. My Option Journal does not require login, username, or password.

Where is my data stored?

Your data is stored on your device. If iCloud Sync is enabled, your data may sync through your personal Apple iCloud account.

Does the app use iCloud?

Yes. My Option Journal can use iCloud Sync to keep your data available across your Apple devices.

Does the app have a subscription?

No. My Option Journal uses a one-time purchase model. There is no monthly or yearly subscription.

What platforms are supported?

My Option Journal is designed for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Why are prices shown in the app?

The app may use a market data API to display stock prices and market information. Your personal journal entries are not sent to the market data provider.

How do I delete my data?

You can delete your local data by deleting the app from your device. If iCloud Sync is enabled, you may also need to manage related iCloud data from your Apple account settings.
